Hosted by the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI): Berks County
NAMI Connection is a peer recovery support group for individuals 18 and over who experience mental health conditions that offers respect, understanding, encouragement, and hope. NAMI Connection groups are:
- Free
- Held 1st and 3rd Monday and 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month for 90 minutes
- Designed to connect, encourage, and support participants
- Led by trained facilitators living in recovery themselves
- For adults 18 and over
- An RSVP is not required.
Locations:
- Meets the 1st and 3rd Mondays, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in person at 640 Walnut Street, 2nd Floor, Reading, PA 19601.
- Meets the 3rd Monday, 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, Zoom only (register for online here)
- Meets the 2nd and 4th Thursdays, 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in person at 30 Liberty Street, Shillington, PA 19607
NAMI Berks County is an affiliate of NAMI PA. NAMI Berks County and dedicated volunteers, members, and leaders work tirelessly to raise awareness and provide essential education, advocacy, and support group programs for people in the community living with mental illness and their loved ones.
