On Saturday, September 5, the all-beef patty takes over eight blocks of downtown for the 23rd Annual Taste of Hamburg-er Festival — 40 restaurants, caterers, and community groups firing up their most tantalizing burgers, alongside four stages of live music, an all-star eating competition, beer & wine gardens, crafters, and kids’ activities. What started as a three-block party for the burger’s 100th birthday is now the East Coast’s premier hamburger event — free, and rain or shine. So steer yourself to Hamburg, walk your buns to the downtown, and relish the day. There’s no bull about it: you’ll have an udder-ly great time and maybe ketch-up with a few friends. Come early and come hungry!
