This summer, Philadelphia Parks and Rec is offering sensory-friendly swim hours. This is an open swim time with a quiet, less-crowded environment. This swim time is set aside for those with autism and neurodivergence and their families. You are encouraged to pre-register for these events.
- Barry Pool: Sundays 12:00 -1:00 p.m.
- Fox Chase Pool: Thursdays 5:00-7:00 p.m.
- Gathers Pool: Fridays 10:00-11:00 a.m.
- J. Finnegan Pool: Fridays 12:00 -1:00 p.m.
- Kendrick Pool: Sundays 12:00-1:00 p.m.
- Mitchell Pool: Fridays 5:00-7:00 p.m.
- Scanlon: Fridays 5:00-7:00 p.m.
- Vogt: Wednesdays 5:30-7:00 p.m.
Please note: Sensory friendly swim will not take place during posted heat emergencies. This will allow Parks & Rec to keep all pools available for open swim.
