Topic: Understanding Your Rights
Dinner is provided and there is no cost to attend.
Meetings are generally held on the 4th Thursday of the month. Attendees are self-advocate adults and whoever they choose to bring along, whether it be their family, friend, staff or no one at all!
Each meeting has a different educational component to assist people in learning the skills to become confident in speaking up and speaking out!
The Arc of Washington County is an affiliated chapter of the Arc of Pennsylvania and the Arc of the United States. Its mission promotes the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and actively supports their full inclusion and participation in the community throughout their lifetime.
