Teresa is in her early 20s and looking forward to blogging about her journey with newly diagnosed autism. Within the past few years, she’s had to rebuild her entire life from scratch and navigate everything very differently. She recently had the opportunity to job shadow at different locations and has been inspired to attend college and one day work with children. Teresa is eager for this new chapter in her life and wants to inspire others with autism to never give up, despite whatever obstacles life may throw their way.

Hi, everyone! It’s been a while since my last blog, but I’m back now and I’m excited to continue writing! I wanted to share an update about some of the things I’ve been up to since my last post. In my last blog post, I was still living in a group home and was about to get my own place.
My boyfriend and I eventually decided that we wanted to move in together, so we started to look at places. We found one close to where he works and a short drive away from where I’m from. As of now, we have been living in our home for about four months, and it’s been great! I’m still adjusting to living in a new area, but I’ve been attending social groups to meet new people and hopefully make some friends!
I’m excited to continue writing, and I have so many ideas for future blogs. I can’t wait for people to read them! I know this blog was short, but I hope you enjoyed it, and I’ll see you in the next one!
