I was diagnosed at a young age and went through the special education system in public schools. Family is incredibly important to me as I grew up in a large supportive family. I enjoy being outside in nature and arts and crafts.

It really feels like winter. The first big snowstorm has hit. I’m sitting here in my building lobby watching my neighbors going here and there. Some are going outside to clean off their cars and others are going out to smoke cigarettes. Every time someone goes outside, a cold gust of air comes into the lobby. I live in a medium-size apartment building so that’s not a small number of times that the doors open and close.
The weather has been very unpredictable this year. I can’t believe we haven’t had a big storm before this. Even though the snow has stopped for now, it sure has slowed everything down. I’m so glad that I don’t work at an office and that I work from home. I’m also glad and thankful for the building maintenance manager as he works hard to keep the building I live at in a safe condition so it’s good place to stay.
I don’t usually hang out in the lobby for long periods however I have package I’m waiting for to arrive. I think it might be arriving later today but I don’t know exactly when. I’m excited about this package because it contains high protein and low sugar meal replacements. I’m going to start keeping track of what I eat this year. After I start keeping track on a regular basis, I want to develop the habit of eating less sugar, fat, and calories.
There are many other things I want to gradually change, however, it is difficult to make changes. I think this year I will focus on eating a healthy diet and I also want to become more organized, if possible. I’m not sure if I will be able to achieve these goals but I am hopeful and motivated. Best wishes to everyone for a great year and may you be successful with the goals you set for yourself.
