Learning from Mistakes

My Zodiac is Leo. It stands for Loyalty, Leadership, Bravery, and Generosity.
Sometimes I feel I have to live up to my zodiac sign because I want to be seen as a strong leader that people can count on. Sure, I’ll mess up along the way, and yes, I have made mistakes I’m not proud of. However, I’ve found that as time passes, in a way, I am proud of them (or become proud of them).
I feel more grown up after learning from my mistakes. Sure, it sucks to learn lessons the hard way and the guilt will sometimes never go away, but hey, everyone needs some embarrassing stories to tell your kids someday, right? LOL. And who knows, your story might stop someone from making the same mistake you made.
I wish I was able to see the future to every outcome of my choices so I’d know which is the right path I want to take, but it could also ruin the adventure. Think about it; if you KNOW what’s going to happen, like who you’re going to marry, who’s going to die, if you’ll have your own family, there would be no surprises to look forward to as you move on with your life.
Making mistakes is a part of life in order to grow as a person. NOBODY IS PERFECT. They way I see it, if you’re not making a few mistakes, you might not be trying hard enough. What matters is how you react to mistakes, and the lessons learned.
