Annie is 30 years and old and eager to gain blogging experience. She’s also an aspiring artist learning to make jewelry and other crafts with the hopes of one day sharing her creations with the world online. Annie’s a hard worker and is always there for her family, whether it’s helping out around the house or just curling up on the couch with them and their pets for some relaxation and bonding. You can always count on her to quote movie lines just to make you laugh or to learn new recipes to share delicious food and baked goods with you.

Hello everyone and welcome to the month of November. We are two months away from the end of the year. Can you believe that? Anyway, I will be talking about some of the crafts that I want to learn. I have a friend that’s in my group that loves to craft. For those who know or don’t know, I said before that I have a love for crafting. The reason I do crafting is because it’s very therapeutic and it makes me happy. I can make jewelry but would like to move on to different projects because sometimes I get bored doing the same thing. Now I will tell you the projects that I am interested in trying.
Sometime in the future, I would love to try and master my Cricut joy machine. I have already started learning how to cut vinyl, but I need improvement on that. I can’t tell you how many times I have screwed up trying to cut out the designs for my glass cups. I felt like I was wasting vinyl just having to redo a design because the machine didn’t cut it well enough. To be honest sometimes it’s hard working with vinyl, especially if you are a beginner. I had to look up YouTube videos just to grasp the concept of using my machine. I would like to design totes and shirts but don’t know where to start. I have to first get the materials I need and get used to using vinyl before I can move on to that.
I want to learn how to make jewelry in new ways other than using beads. I want to make crystal and faux leather jewelry. To be honest, it gets boring making the same kind each time. I know how to use stretchy cords and stuff but finding new ways other than the same ones, now that’s hard. I don’t know how to make leather jewelry and would love to try that. I know my machine can only cut faux leather and certain material, so I could look into that.
Lastly, it would be nice to learn how to paint on blank canvases. I have two canvases that I bought from Five Below and some acrylic paints. I would like to make a piece of wall art for my bedroom after I buy a wall decal for the wall above my counter space. I see many inspirations on Pinterest on canvas wall art and so that made me think about making my own for my room. I like the canvases that have words so that’s what I would like to do. They would be just like the ones I got for Christmas a few years ago.
Before I end this post, I would like to say that there are a lot of crafts I would like to try but I am only listing a few because the list is long. I find that doing crafts makes me happy and it’s very therapeutic. One thing to remember is that you craft because it’s comforting, and it keeps you busy. Also, because it’s something you love. If anyone is looking for a hobby, I think crafting could be a good one. You might find it enjoyable. Thank you for letting me share my interest in crafting and have a good day
