A New Start

Posted on

There have been a lot of changes in my life recently. In this blog, I wanted to write about some of these changes and share a bit about what I’ve been up to.

I learned that sometimes things don’t work out, and while I might not understand and be frustrated with it, I understand that that’s okay. Lately, I’ve been navigating some changes in my personal life, including the end of a relationship and starting the process of finding a place of my own. It has been a bit of an adjustment, but I’m taking things one day at a time.

I ended up moving back to my hometown and reuniting with old friends. I now am in my own apartment, and while I’m still figuring things out, I’m excited for what’s to come.

In closing, change isn’t always easy, but it can lead to new beginnings. I’m still figuring things out, but I’m hopeful about where this next chapter will lead. Also, if you’re going through changes too, just know you’re not alone in it. I hope that you enjoyed this blog, and I’ll see you in the next one!

Teresa is in her early 20s and looking forward to blogging about her journey with newly diagnosed autism. Within the past few years, she’s had to rebuild her entire life from scratch and navigate everything very differently. She recently had the opportunity to job shadow at different locations and has been inspired to attend college and one day work with children. Teresa is eager for this new chapter in her life and wants to inspire others with autism to never give up, despite whatever obstacles life may throw their way.
