Overview
This collection of resources provides parents, caregivers and self-advocates information on virtual learning supports available to help students during COVID-19. Some resources are available statewide while others are specific to Philadelphia and other regions of Pennsylvania.
Promoting Positive Learning Climates Online and at Home
This resource list was compiled by the PA Department of Education to support educators’ and parents’ efforts to maintain a positive learning climate while students are physically separated from their teachers and classmates due to the COVID-19 school closures.
Special Education During COVID
This resource provides information about Special Education laws and how they apply to school shutdowns and home schooling as a result of COVID-19.

Family Resources for Students with Complex Learning Needs
This website from PaTTAN provides resources for family members for students with complex learning needs to support them during virtual learning as a result of COVID-19. For the purpose of this website, a complex learner is a child, youth, or young adult with an intellectual or significant cognitive disability, multiple disabilities, and/or sensory impairment.
