Sensory-Friendly Day

Join the National Constitution Center for its Sensory-Friendly Days, an accessible learning experience for people of all abilities and their families. Visitors with sensory-processing challenges can experience the museum in a secure and comfortable environment that includes modified programming and emotionally safe spaces with sensory objects, comfortable seating, and cool blue lighting.

The National Constitution Center is a proud partner of Art-Reach, a Philadelphia nonprofit organization that creates connections between the disability community and the cultural arts. Art-Reach has provided inclusion and accessibility trainings to museum staff, collaborated on programming, and consulted on environmental adjustments serve the community. The NCC is also a proud participant of Art-Reach’s ACCESS Admission Program, a community initiative developed to make arts and cultural spaces more accessible and affordable by providing $2 admission to over 80 cultural sites throughout Greater Philadelphia and Delaware for individuals receiving public assistance for food or medical benefits.
