The National Aviary wants to ensure each individual’s experience is comfortable and enjoyable.
During Sensory Friendly Time, guests can borrow a Sensory Bag* from KultureCity equipped with headphones, fidget toys, and other items and enjoy interactive play spaces at no cost. Explore a fun and colorful sensory station, feel bird bio-facts, like eggs and feathers while a National Aviary expert highlights the bird species they came from. A quiet room is also available.
Admission to Sensory Friendly Time is available free of charge. However, registration is required. Call 412-323-7235 to register. For group registrations, call 412-258-9439.
