Hosted by The Pittsburgh Glass Center
Visitors with sensory sensitivities will enjoy free sensory-friendly mornings on Saturday, March 11, and Sunday, April 2 from 9 am-12 pm.
The safe and welcoming environment includes live glassblowing demonstrations with ASL interpretation and a designated quiet zone appropriate for visitors of all ages.
Visitors are encouraged to borrow a sensory kit, available at our front desk. The kits include noise-canceling headphones, paper fans, fidget toys, and more items to help visitors with sensory sensitivities navigate the space.
