Join PEAL for a one-day event focusing on what young people with disabilities and their families can expect after graduation. Learn about transition services, plan a vision for the future, and hear from a panel of self-advocates who will share their lived experiences with transition.

Conference Speakers
- Dr. Donavan McCargo is the Vice President for Campus Life and Dean of Students at Arcadia University. Dr. McCargo is a dynamic and passionate higher education leader who is driven by the purpose of helping to provide access to those who desire a higher education; he strives to cultivate and develop intentional higher education practices, resources, and supports that enable students to thrive in a college environment.
- Dr. Andrew McCormick is an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and Director of the Health Transitions Program for the Down Syndrome Center of Western PA. The aim of the program is to support young adults and their families in the journey to adulthood by offering a longitudinal and holistic approach to transition.
The PEAL Center is a one-stop-resource for disability information and referral in Pennsylvania for parents, self-advocates, and professionals. PEAL provides assistance to families of children with disabilities, educators, and others who work with them.
