Participant Direction requires that a backup plan be in place. This means that many people have to think creatively to meet this requirement! Join the PA Family Network to look at ideas for developing back-up plans and finding resources.
- Participants will understand the importance of a backup plan.
- Participants will be exposed to new ways of looking at their resources.
- Participants will be exposed to new ways of identifying or creating supports.
The PA Family Network is a program of Vision for Equality and funded through the Pa Office of Developmental Programs. They are a statewide peer-to-peer information and support initiative for families of people with intellectual disabilities and autism.
