Hosted by the PEAL Center
PEAL is excited to share that they’re using the Elevatus Training program to support young people with disabilities in learning about healthy relationships, boundaries, safety, and self-advocacy.
The program begins with a parent and caregiver component, giving families the tools and confidence to have open, supportive conversations with their young person.
From there, youth will participate in interactive sessions that cover topics like understanding bodies, consent, communication, friendships, and navigating relationships with confidence.
The PEAL Center is a one-stop-resource for disability information and referral in Pennsylvania for parents, self-advocates, and professionals. PEAL provides assistance to families of children with disabilities, educators, and others who work with them. PEAL’s primary intent is to help families help their children and provide the tools they need to become lifelong advocates for their children and themselves.
