From Pennsylvania Health Access Network (PHAN)
Our ability to access healthcare is protected by laws at the state and federal levels. State and federal government agencies, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the PA Department of Health, the PA Department of Human Services, and the PA Insurance Department, are responsible for overseeing the health plans, doctors, and hospitals to make sure the rights of patients are being upheld. Health plans can also take action when there’s an issue with a doctor or hospital.
This one-hour training webinar can help you know your rights regarding healthcare access and what to do when those rights are violated.
