Coronavirus (COVID-19) Health and Safety Guide
ASERT has compiled resources for those with autism and those who care for people with autism relating to the current COVID-19 outbreak.
In the past year, millions of Americans have been affected by Covid-19. Because of the pandemic, many people have lost their jobs, homes and many have lost their loved ones. Children were unable to return to school full time which put a financial strain on parents being unable to work. With the start of a new year, they are hoping the country and economy can fully recover from what has recently occurred. With the hopeful return of the school year, they want to give back to their community. Give back, and Give love is an event organize by Fast Hart Collection to provide children from K-8th grade with school supplies. They are also going to provide children haircuts and also raffle tickets for children to get their hair done by local hair salons before school begins. They will also have entrepreneurs speak to children interested in finding their true talents and becoming business owners. They will also have arts and crafts, paint and play, double Dutch contest, hair braiding class, cotton candy, and much more. The reason for this event is to bring hope and light back to the local community and provide people with a day of fun.
