Hosted by Families CCAN.
Join the October meeting for a conversation with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) and Assistive Technology (AT) creator Jessica Smith.
Featured in a 6abc Hometown Heroes segment, Jessica creates communication boards for first responders to use in their interactions with community members who may communicate through methods other than speech. She also creates communication boards and tools for a variety of community organizations in their programming, including Game on State.
This meeting is free to attend and all are welcome. Registration is required.
Families CCAN enables adults with disabilities to live happy, supported, independent lives where they are full participants in their communities. Their knowledge, resources, tools, and networks support families in developing housing, employment, and volunteer opportunities for their loved ones with disabilities.
