This circle is designed to provide support to children and teens whose parents are separating or going through a divorce. This can be a difficult time in a young person’s life. Children’s emotions go through stages and change. Some children may feel sad, confused, angry, guilty or worried about what will happen to them and their parents. This 8-week workshop for children and teens is intended to provide a safe place to process some of the overwhelming emotions they may be feeling and to find and provide support from other peers. Each week they will discuss how changes in a family dynamic are affecting them and provide some strategies to guide us through challenging times.
