Thanks to support from The Pittsburgh Foundation, CLASS is excited to offer this FREE PROGRAM to youth with disabilities (age 16+) and their families.
Over the course of four educational sessions, participants will meet with a group of families who are also planning for their futures. Together, participants will learn about the process of transitioning from youth to adult services (the differences between them), home and community-based services for people with disabilities, funding these services, as well as education, employment, financial planning, and self-advocacy.
CLASS will provide meals at each session and may reimburse families for child/dependent care and transportation greater than 10 miles.
CLASS is currently enrolling youth and families for every cohort throughout the Summer and Fall cohorts! To sign up or learn more, please contact the Outreach Coordinator, Mallory Hudson, at 412.389.3969 or MHudson@CLASSCommunity.org.
