Registration is not required. Attend as a group or individually. This training may be counted towards your annual training hour requirements. Participants must complete entire session for certificate of attendance.
There are five top health issues that impact individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) at a greater rate and with more severity than those in the general population. These health issues are linked to serious illness and preventable deaths in community-based settings. This training will review basic information on each health issue to build awareness.
Training Objectives:
- List the five common health conditions that impact individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) at a greater rate and with more severity than those in the general population.
- List signs and symptoms of each specific health condition.
- Understand the importance of early recognition of each health condition.
