The targeted audience will be caregivers and support staff who support adult individuals with Intellectual Disabilities/Autism living in community settings. Anyone with an interest may join.
Registration is not required. Attend as a group or individually. Participants must complete entire session for certificate of attendance.
Training Objectives:
- Describe what is considered a medical emergency.
- Define stroke signs and symptoms.
- Explain 5 and 5 maneuvers for choking.
- Demonstrate compression of wound in bleeding emergency.
