ASERT has compiled resources for those with autism and those who care for people with autism relating to the current COVID-19 outbreak.
Organized by Autism Society Greater Philadelphia.
Autism Acceptance Day at the Philadelphia Zoo Resource Fair is a day to connect with the Autism Community. It is open to the general public and draws thousands of attendees from all over the tri-state area. The event is held at the Philadelphia Zoo Peacock Pavilion. The Resource Fair is staged mainly outside of the large Peacock Pavilion. Most tables are tented. This is an excellent opportunity for organizations to network with those on the autism spectrum, their families and friends, as well as other professionals in the autism field. It is a day of sharing resources. It is also a fun-filled event with Music, Jugglers, Magic, and more staged in the Peacock Pavilion. Add to that Sensory Stations, Crafts tables, Free Give Aways, Fun Mascot, and Kid Characters, Princesses, Raffles, Quiet Areas, Special Guests, and much more, all nestled within the amazing Philadelphia Zoo! The low admission price for families includes all these activities, the Autism Resource Fair, and admission to the Philadelphia Zoo. There will be hand sanitizing stations and social distancing of event areas. The event will observe the Philadelphia guidelines for covid protocols.
