Topic: ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience Act of 2014)

Parents often ask what is the best way to save for a loved one with a disability? The ABLE (Achieving a Better Life Experience Act of 2014) allows savings, with limitations, to be exempt from Supplement Security Income and Medicaid resource limits and earnings are exempt from federal income tax. Please join Diana Fishlock, Outreach Specialist from the Pennsylvania Treasury Bureau of Savings Programs to learn more about ABLE accounts, how to open one, and the many advantages of ABLE accounts.

The mission of the Arc of Chester County is to advocate, educate, and provide services to empower individuals with disabilities and their families to enhance the quality of their lives.
