My Blogging Experience

Hello everyone, it’s June and for this month’s blog post I have decided to tell you guys about my experience as a blogger and how it’s going for me. Let me start off by saying that before I became a blogger, I had no experience with blogging. In fact, I have never blogged a day in my life. I never knew where to start so when I learned that ASERT – ASDNext was looking for people to blog for them, I thought. “Well, you know this might be a perfect place to start.” And it was and I was happy to accept the position. To this day I have gotten to a point where I am comfortable with being a writer and writing whatever comes to mind.

The rewarding part is having a place to speak your mind about anything. I love the part where I feel like I am talking to an audience and people love what I write and become interested in my stories. I write for ASDNext in association with Penn State. I have written about various topics ranging from my love of baking to whatever is going on in my life. I love my job but never met my fellow bloggers. I think it would be nice if I met them because they seem like nice people. I have been blogging for about almost two years now and I feel like I have fulfilled a dream, and that dream was being a published writer. I can’t write a book, but I can write blogs. I have an easier time with blogging than writing books. I do get writer’s block with blogging, but I give myself time to come up with ideas. Some ideas come easy, and some don’t. This topic and some of the other topics I talked about were easy and the thoughts just flowed. I can go on for an hour talking about them.

Annie is 30 years and old and eager to gain blogging experience. She’s also an aspiring artist learning to make jewelry and other crafts with the hopes of one day sharing her creations with the world online.
